What procedures are included in a mommy makeover?

A mommy makeover addresses multiple concerns in one personalized surgical plan designed around your goals. The most common procedures to include are breast enhancement (augmentation, lift or reduction), abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and liposuction. Some women also include vaginal rejuvenation with a labiaplasty and THERMIva.

Is it worth combining procedures or should I do them separately?

For many patients, combining procedures is the most efficient and cost-effective approach. It allows you to achieve multiple improvements with one surgery and one recovery period. During your consultation, we'll discuss the safest plan for you.

How long is the recovery? When can I lift my kids again?

Most patients need two to three weeks before returning to light activities and about six weeks before resuming vigorous exercise. You must avoid lifting anything heavier than 10 pounds for at least four to six weeks.

Do I need to be done having children before getting a mommy makeover?

It is not required, but it is recommended. Future pregnancies can affect your results by stretching your skin or abdominal muscles again. We recommend waiting until you're finished having children and maintaining a stable weight after surgery to enjoy lasting results.

How soon after pregnancy or breastfeeding can I have surgery?

We typically recommend waiting at least six months after childbirth and three to six months after breastfeeding. This gives your body time to stabilize and helps ensure the safest, most predictable outcome.

Is there a consultation fee?

Yes, we ask for a $100 consultation fee. If you decide to book, that cost is applied directly toward your surgery!
